PLN IP Services Strengthens Collaboration with KLES & SOOSAN for Major Maintenance of Jawa 9 & 10

 

Jakarta, April 24, 2026 – PT PLN Indonesia Power Services (PLN IP Services) officially held the Signing Ceremony of the Consortium Agreement for the Jawa 9 & 10 Major Maintenance Program (MMP) with PT Kles Indo Jaya (KLES) and Soosan Industries Co., Ltd. (SOOSAN). This signing is a strategic step in strengthening collaboration to ensure the operational reliability of the Jawa 9 & 10 power plants through an integrated, large-scale maintenance program.

 

This agreement reflects the synergy between PLN IP Services' operational strength, KLES' infrastructure and coordination capabilities, and SOOSAN's technological excellence. This collaboration is expected to optimally address power plant maintenance challenges while improving the performance, efficiency, and long-term sustainability of the plant's operations.

 

In his remarks, PLN IP Services President Director Hari Cahyono stated that the signing of this consortium agreement represents a significant milestone in strengthening PLN IP Services' strategic position in the management and maintenance of globally recognized power plants.

 

He emphasized that the collaboration with KLES Indo Jaya and Soosan Industries Co., Ltd. represents a concrete step in integrating operational excellence, engineering capabilities, and cutting-edge technology to ensure the success of the Java 9 & 10 Major Maintenance Program.

 

"The signing of this consortium agreement marks an important milestone in the collaboration between PLN IP Services, KLES Indo Jaya, and Soosan Industries Co., Ltd. By combining expertise, experience, and technological excellence, we are optimistic that this partnership will ensure the success of the Java 9 & 10 Major Maintenance Program, improve power plant reliability, and create sustainable value for all stakeholders," Hari said.

 

Meanwhile, Mr. Han Bong Seob, CEO/Vice Chairman of Soosan Industries Co., Ltd., expressed his appreciation for the trust and collaboration. He emphasized that this partnership will foster strong and sustainable synergy in supporting the success of the Java 9 & 10 project, while also opening up opportunities for broader collaboration in the future.

He believes the collaboration between PLN IP Services, SOOSAN, and KLES will create solid synergy and make a tangible contribution to the development of the electricity industry in Indonesia.

He emphasized that the synergy between PLN IP Services, SOOSAN, and KLES is expected to ensure the long-term operational reliability of the power plant while opening up opportunities for broader and more sustainable collaboration in the future.

PLN IP Services Supports Energy Transition Through Participation in PLN Electric Run 2025

PLN IP Services Together with Srikandi, Realizing Environmentally Friendly Waste Management

As a form of concern for the environment and commitment to support sustainable waste management, PLN IP Services together with Srikandi Head Office carried out the delivery of assistance through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to TPS 3R Siaga Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. The assistance was in the form of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and additional food (extrafooding) which was given to the cleaning staff at the location.
