Safety Town Hall 2026

PLN IP Services Further Strengthens OHS Culture for Zero Harm, Zero Loss

Coinciding with the momentum of National OHS Month 2026, PLN IP Services reaffirmed its commitment to creating a safe, healthy, and productive work environment by holding the 2026 Safety Town Hall Meeting. This activity served as a strategic forum for all PLN IP Services employees to strengthen the culture of Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (OHS) across all generating units.

The 2026 Safety Town Hall Meeting was held over two days, on February 3–4, 2026, in a hybrid format from PLN IP Services Headquarters and online with all generating unit employees across various regions. This hybrid implementation was the company's effort to ensure that safety messages were conveyed evenly and reached all PLN IP Services employees without exception.

This year, PLN IP Services aligned its Safety Town Hall Meeting with the theme of PLN Group's National Occupational Health and Safety Month, "Strengthening Inclusive, Collaborative Cross-Role Synergy and the Utilization of Sustainable Technology to Achieve Zero Harm, Zero Loss." Through a series of educational activities, the company emphasized that occupational safety focuses not only on technical and operational aspects in the field, but also encompasses mental health, driving safety, and the implementation of a healthy lifestyle.

The event was officially opened by the President Director of PLN IP Services, Hari Cahyono, who in his remarks emphasized that safety is the main foundation of all power plant operational activities and a key prerequisite for the company's successful performance.

"This Safety Town Hall Meeting reaffirms that safety is a top priority. The 9 Life Saving Rules are not just work rules, but a shared commitment to ensuring that every PLN IP Services employee works safely and returns home safely," said Hari Cahyono.

He also emphasized that achieving performance targets and business sustainability must always go hand in hand with the implementation of a disciplined and consistent safety culture across all levels of the organization.

On the first day's agenda, PLN IP Services' Director of Operations, Amir Murtono, delivered a presentation on the dissemination of the 9 Life-Saving Rules, which had just been launched within PLN IP Services. He emphasized that these nine rules are not merely administrative guidelines, but rather the main foundation of occupational safety that must be understood and adhered to by all company personnel in the generating units.

"Compliance with the 9 Life-Saving Rules demonstrates the integrity of PLN IP Services' employees in their work. This is a standard that protects safety in every generating unit. We want to ensure that every operational process is aligned with the Zero Harm, Zero Loss principle," Amir Murtono emphasized.

In addition to strengthening the operational aspects of generating units, the 2026 Safety Town Hall Meeting also featured various educational sessions that addressed a comprehensive safety perspective. Topics presented included Mental Health Awareness with Dwi Ayu Elita Kartilia, Material Development Manager for the PLN Certification Implementation Unit, Training Center; Defensive & Safety Driving, led by expert practitioner Budi Priyono; and HIV/AIDS Education as a Preventive Public Health Measure with Dr. Djon Dedi from Tarakan Regional Hospital, Jakarta.

Through the 2026 Safety Town Hall Meeting, PLN IP Services hopes that strengthening the OHS culture will continue to be embedded in every line of work, become a shared value that is consistently implemented, and support the realization of reliable, safe, and sustainable power plant operations.
