To commemorate National Occupational Health and Safety Month 2026, PLN IP Services held a blood drive at its Head Office and simultaneously in various work units. This activity was carried out in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) as a demonstration of the company's commitment to occupational safety and health, and social responsibility.
This blood drive demonstrates the strong social responsibility of all PLN IP Services employees. In addition to supporting the national blood supply, this activity also provides an opportunity for PLN IP Services employees to contribute directly to the community, as a drop of donated blood can provide hope and save lives.
Blood donation is also seen as a form of humanitarian cooperation with a broad scope. Although the recipients may not know each other, their contributions are a valuable act of kindness that has a real impact on others. This activity also generates positive energy among donors and strengthens humanitarian values in the workplace.
The President Director of PLN IP Services, Hari Cahyono, emphasized that this activity aligns with the spirit of National Occupational Health and Safety Month, which focuses not only on occupational safety but also on caring for others.
"National Occupational Health and Safety Month is a momentum for PLN IP Services to emphasize that safety and care are inextricably linked. Through this blood drive, we want to foster a spirit of mutual cooperation and social awareness among all PLN IP Services employees. No matter how small our contribution, it will be very meaningful for those in need," said Hari Cahyono.
He also added that the blood drive, held at the Head Office and work units, is a regular event during National Occupational Health and Safety Month and is expected to continue.
"We hope this activity will not only become a ceremonial event, but also a cultural one. A culture of caring, sharing, and ensuring that PLN IP Services' presence provides broader benefits to the community," he added.
