Collaborating on Independence Day, PLN IP Services and the An Nur Foundation Hold Mass Circumcision

 

Jakarta, August 20, 2026 – The spirit of sharing and caring colored the commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence through the Merdeka 2026 Mass Circumcision, themed "Creating a Pious, Healthy, and Intelligent Generation." The event, held in the Multipurpose Room of the PLN Indonesia Power Head Office, Jakarta, on Saturday (August 15), was initiated and organized by the An Nur Insan Pembangkitan PLN Indonesia Power (PLN IP) Foundation, with the involvement of PLN IP Services and other PLN IP subsidiaries. Several children participated in the free mass circumcision as part of the spirit of sharing during the momentum of independence.

 

The Merdeka 2026 Mass Circumcision is a form of social responsibility that provides tangible benefits to the community, particularly in supporting children's health and development. This activity also served as a platform to strengthen relationships and build togetherness within the PLN IP Group through tangible social contributions.

 

The HR Director of PLN IP Services, Imam Adi Prihantoro, also attended the event and symbolically handed over the 2026 Merdeka Mass Circumcision assistance to representatives of the beneficiaries. This support is part of PLN IP Services' involvement in social programs initiated by the An Nur Insan Pembangkitan PLN IP Foundation.

 

Imam Adi Prihantoro stated that community service is part of the company's ongoing efforts to provide benefits to the community.

 

"Through this activity, we hope to benefit the children and families who participate in the Merdeka Mass Circumcision. Hopefully, these children will grow into a pious, healthy, intelligent generation, capable of making positive contributions to their environment and the nation," said Imam.

 

Embracing the spirit of independence, the 2026 Merdeka Mass Circumcision not only provided free healthcare services but also provided a positive experience for the children and families in attendance. The presence of various parties at this activity demonstrates that social awareness can be realized through synergy and collective contributions.

Supporting Education, PLN IP and PLN IP Services Collaborate to Hold Smart IP 2025

PLN Indonesia Power together with its subsidiary, PLN Indonesia Power Services, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the world of education through the IP Pintar Program (Internship, Assessment, and Certification). Optimizing the Performance of PLN IP Services' Generating Units Successfully Completes a Major Overhaul of Unit 6 of the Tes Hydroelectric Power Plant

Lebong, June 8, 2026 — The reliability of renewable energy-based power plants has been further strengthened through the successful completion of the Major Overhaul (MO) of Unit 6 of the Tes Hydroelectric Power Plant, which was completed eight days ahead of the set target. PLN Indonesia Power Services (PLN IP Services), through its flagship Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) service, successfully completed the work in 32 days out of the 40-day target. This accelerated completion demonstrates PLN IP Services' capability in providing reliable power plant maintenance services, while ensuring that Unit 6 of the Tes Hydroelectric Power Plant returns to operation more quickly to support the reliability of renewable energy-based electricity supply.
