PLN IP Services West Kalimantan-1 Holds Ramadan Safari to Strengthen Community Relations

 

To celebrate the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H, PLN Indonesia Power Services (PLN IP Services), through its West Kalimantan-1 Work Unit, held a Ramadan Safari at the Al Falah Mosque in Sungai Soga, Singkawang City. The event was attended by village officials, community leaders, and representatives of companies operating in the Singkawang area.

 

As a form of collaboration and social responsibility, PLN IP Services West Kalimantan-1 Unit participated by providing assistance to the mosque administrators. Present at the event were Fadola Wardana, Administration Manager, along with the management and team of PLN IP Services West Kalimantan-1. The assistance was symbolically handed over to the mosque administrators as a manifestation of the company's commitment to supporting religious activities while strengthening relationships with the community surrounding the generating unit.

 

This participation is part of the company's Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program. Through this program, PLN IP Services strives to create added value and provide a sustainable positive impact on the community, particularly in its operational areas.

 

The President Director of PLN IP Services, Hari Cahyono, stated that the Ramadan Safari is not just an annual event, but a tangible manifestation of the company's presence in the community.

 

"The Ramadan Safari is a momentum to strengthen relationships and share blessings. We want to ensure that PLN IP Services' presence not only contributes to maintaining reliable electricity operations but also provides social benefits that can be directly felt by the community," said Hari Cahyono.

 

He added that this activity is also part of the company's efforts to continue building harmonious relationships with the community and strengthening the value of togetherness, especially during this blessed month.

 

The Ramadan Safari activity will not only be held at the Al Falah Mosque in Sungai Soga, but will also continue at several other mosques, namely the Nurul Qomar Tepi Sungai Mosque, the At-Taqwa Bakau Mosque, and the Baiturrahman Rukma Jaya Mosque, before concluding at the Nurul Islam Teluk Melanau Mosque.

 

This series of activities has become an annual agenda that strengthens the values ​​of friendship, togetherness, and synergy between the company and the community in supporting social and religious development. Through the Ramadan Safari, the spirit of sustainability is not only a corporate commitment but is manifested in concrete actions that benefit the community while strengthening harmonious relations between the company and the surrounding environment.

PLN IP Services Together with Srikandi, Realizing Environmentally Friendly Waste Management

As a form of concern for the environment and commitment to support sustainable waste management, PLN IP Services together with Srikandi Head Office carried out the delivery of assistance through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to TPS 3R Siaga Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. The assistance was in the form of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and additional food (extrafooding) which was given to the cleaning staff at the location.
