PLN IP Services Ignites New Energy in the Holy Month, Achieving Blessings through Ramadan Study
Jakarta, March 6, 2026 - To celebrate the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H, PLN Indonesia Power Services (PLN IP Services) held a Ramadan Study with the theme "Achieving the Virtues of Ramadan by Igniting New Energy Full of Blessings." The study featured Ustadz Hasyim Adnan, Lc., and was attended by all PLN IP Services employees.
The study was conducted in a hybrid format, with in-person sessions at the PLN IP Services Head Office and online sessions attended by employees from various PLN IP Services work units across all operational areas.
The event was opened by the President Director of PLN IP Services, Hari Cahyono, who in his remarks stated that Ramadan is an important opportunity to strengthen spiritual values and improve self-esteem, both as individuals and as members of PLN IP Services.
"Ramadan is not just about enduring hunger and thirst, but also a time for self-reflection, increasing piety, and strengthening caring and togetherness. Values such as discipline, honesty, and patience, cultivated during fasting, align with our spirit of working professionally and as a form of worship," said Hari.
On that occasion, he also reminded all PLN IP Services employees to maintain work productivity and uphold the principle of integrity, especially in the lead-up to Eid al-Fitr.
"We urge all employees to continue upholding integrity by implementing the 4 No's principle. In the lead-up to Eid al-Fitr, all employees are expected not to accept gifts or parcels of any kind related to their position or authority," he added.
In his lecture, Ustadz Hasyim Adnan encouraged all employees to view work as part of their worship to Allah SWT. He emphasized that work is not just about earning a living, but also a form of responsibility to provide benefits to their families, communities, and the surrounding environment.
According to him, when someone works with the right intention to provide for their family, maintain their honor, and benefit others, then every effort and effort they endure will be rewarded by Allah SWT. Ustadz Hasyim also highlighted the important role of power plant personnel in maintaining electricity reliability for the community. He stated that work in the electricity sector is not merely technical work, but has far-reaching benefits for life.
As part of a series of Ramadan activities, PLN IP Services also distributed educational assistance to the Dompet Yatim and Dhuafa Dormitory in Pejaten, South Jakarta. The assistance was symbolically handed over by the President Director of PLN IP Services as a manifestation of the company's commitment to sharing happiness and supporting the education of children in need.
In addition to serving as a means of spiritual development, this activity also served as a momentum to strengthen relationships and strengthen togetherness among PLN IP Services employees.
Through this Ramadan Study, PLN IP Services hopes that all employees will further strengthen the values of togetherness, integrity, and enthusiasm in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. Ramadan is expected to be a momentum to continue spreading kindness, strengthening social awareness, and bringing positive energy to the workplace and the wider community.
